Ингредиенты

  • 1 can pear halves (16 ounces) liquid removed
  • 1 3/4 c. Bisquick(r) Reduced Fat baking mix
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. margarine butter or possibly spread,* melted
  • 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 2/3 c. plain nonfat yogurt

Инструкции

  1. PREP TIME: 9 minBAKE TIME: 50 minMakes 8 servings
  2. If you are a nutmeg lover, sprinkle about 1/4 tsp. grnd nutmeg over the pears.
  3. 1. Heat oven to 400F. Grease and flour round pan, 8x1 1/2 inches. Cut pear halves into thin slices.
  4. 2. Stir together baking mix, sugar, lowfat milk and margarine. Pour into pan. Arrange pear slices in circular pattern on batter; sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. 3. Bake 45 to 50 min or possibly till golden and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Top each serving with yogurt.
  6. *If using spread, use only stick which has more than 65% vegetable oil.
  7. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 425. Decrease baking mix to 1 1/2 c. and add in 1/4 c. Gold Medal(r) all-purpose flour. Decrease sugar to 1/4 c.. (c) Betty Crocker, 2000 Webdoc: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipedb/33393.asp
  8. NOTES :This recipe calls for canned pear halves. I think it would be good with apple too. Just poach or possibly stew an apple. Or possibly halve a gala apple, and remove the seed core. then zap it in the microwave (cut side down on a plate) for about 60-90 seconds on high or possibly till tender but not soft. Let it stand till cold sufficient to cut. It will continue cooking while standing. Tarter apples take longer.
  9. The recipe says: "245 calories (70 calories from fat); 8 g fat " so 70/245 = 28% of the calories are from fat (cff)

This recipe works well with pears. It was very good. But how many times does the author need to write "possibly"?
