- 2 c. flour buttermilk vegetable oil

- For a 9" cake pan of biscuits (about 10), put two c. flour in a bowl.
- Fold in sufficient buttermilk so which it holds together but is not dry (the wetter the better). Drop this mix onto a floured surface and pat it out till it's about 3/4 inch thick. Cut out biscuits and place in greased pan. Put a light coat of vegetable oil on tops of biscuits (maybe you can use a "Pam"-type spray, I've never tried it). Bake in 350 oven for about 15 min.
- NOTES : I spent the first 33 years of my life (all but the last year)
- living near Memphis, TN, where biscuits are required at every meal. Please note which you have to use a very soft, fine flour.
- I only use "WR" brand.
