- 2 pound lean beef ribs
- 1/4 c. peach preserves
- 1/2 c. water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Freshly grnd black pepper
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

- Place the ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan and roast at 450 degrees for 30 min. In a small saucepan, combine all remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat till thickened, stirring constantly. Set sauce aside.
- Remove the ribs and rack from pan and pour off the fat. Reduce oven heat to 350 degrees. Return ribs to the pan, and pour the sauce over them. Bake uncovered, basting occasionally, till ribs are tender, about 1 hour. 4 servings. 233 cal/serving.
