The 'Notes' describe these perfectly. I'm a die-hard scones fan and usually like the typical dry, floury ones, so I was skeptical...but I had some very ripe bananas to use and this was the only recipe using Bisquick I could find...didn't have much time, so that's why I wanted a Bisquick recipe.
These are absolutely wonderful! The natural sugar makes them the right amount of sweet. I used regular Bisquick, not reduced fat and I didn't use the cream of wheat, only because I didn't have these items. Same with the buttermilk...I used half and half, and I used one large egg instead of the egg substitute.

- Description: "A drier banana bread without all the sugar"
- NOTES : The taste, texture and aroma of these scones reminded us of banana nut bread without the sugar shock. The scones are not the typical dry, floury affairs. These are a cross between a biscuit and a cake.
