- 1 c. Granulated white sugar
- 1/2 c. Shortening (half butter, half Crisco)
- 2 x Ripened bananas (bananas should feel slightly squishy)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 c. Sifted all purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 c. Minced walnuts

- 1. Cream the first five ingredients in mixer.
- 2. Add in flour and baking soda to creamed mix. (nuts are also added if you like)
- 3. Pour dough in greased loaf tin.
- 4. Bake at 350'F for 45-60 min.
