- 2 c. flour
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup
- 2 1/2 T shortening
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk or possibly water

- Sift flour and baking pwdr together. Stir in dry onion soup. Blend shortening into dry mix. Make a hole in center. Pour all the lowfat milk in. Stir only till flour is moistened. Toss on floured board, knead for 20 seconds. Roll or possibly pat 1/2" thick. Cut into rounds, place in pan and bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 15 min. Makes about 2 dozen 1 1/2" biscuits.
