- 8 slc Bacon
- 2 med Onions, sliced
- 12 slc White bread, quartered
- 1/2 lb Swiss cheese, shredded
- 8 x Large eggs
- 4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1 dsh Red pepper sauce (or possibly to taste)

- Cook bacon till crisp; remove from pan, drain and crumble. In bacon drippings cook onions till soft. Arrange half the bread slices in a single layer in bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan or possibly casserole. Sprinkle with half the crumbled bacon, onions and cheese. Repeat layers.
- Combine remaining ingredients; pour over top layer in pan. (May be prepared to this stage in advance and stored in refrigerator till an hour before serving time.)
- Bake at 375 degrees till mix is set and top is puffed and golden brown, about 50 min. This will serve 8. The recipe can be halved and baked in an 8 inch square pan for about 40 min.
