Evidently it is a mystery why this pie tastes so darn good!

- Filling:
- 1 8oz. Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Sugar (Can use 8 packets Equal)
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/4 cup Pecans (chopped)
- Topping:
- 1 cup Corn Syrup
- 3 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Sugar (Can use 6 packets of Equal)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Ready Made Pie Crust

- Mix 1/3 cup sugar, salt, vanilla and 1 egg and beat on medium speed until blended. Spread on bottom of pie crust and sprinkle with pecans.
- Combine all topping ingredients and blend on medium speed until thoroughly mixed. Pour over filling. Top with more pecans.
- Bake 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until firm to the touch.
