- 1 c. butter
- 3 c. all purpose flour
- 2 c. raisins
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. blackberry jam
- 2 c. applesauce
- 2 teaspoon soda dissolved in the applesauce
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 teaspoon cinnamon

- Cream butter and sugar; add in large eggs one at a time; add in jam and mix well. Add in the dry ingredients with the applesauce. Mix in raisins and nuts. Bake in greased and lightly floured large tube pan in 350 degree oven. (This makes a large cake).
