  1. Cream butter & almond paste till fluffy. Add in sugar gradually. Add in Large eggs, one at a time. Fold in flour mix & lowfat milk alternately. Bake in a bundt pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till done.
  2. Original recipe called for 2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour, cornstarch & reduced flour reflect which change.
  3. Description: "I've had this cake for years, it always wins a blue ribbon. If desired almonds this has a huge almond flavor!"
  4. NOTES : I got this recipe out of an old Maid of Scandinavia cake decorating magazine & I've had it for years, the recipe is probably around 30 years old at this point.
  5. Please note which this recipe uses almond paste, not filling - it's about 1/2 of a can, so freeze the rest for later.
