Обо мне
It might be strange to many people when I say I learned how to cook when I was 8 yrs old but is the truth. Instead of playing with dolls I was helping my mom to cook because her health was not good so I learned to cook to help her feed my siblings.
Today cooking and baking is my passion even thou I have never gone to a culinary school.
I do private caterings for different kinds of parties but my heart fills with so much joy when I volunteer my time to cook for Church to raise money for their different kind of programs specially when is to help the homeless.
I have to kids all grown up also, my son Ben is 24 and his passion also is cooking and baking. My daughter 23 also likes to cook and now my 4 yr old grandson stands next to me to help me when I am preparing anything of making cookies or cake so I feel privileged to be his teacher.
Кулинарное влияние
God is my major influence because he has given me the best mom in the world, because she did not care that she had to raise my siblings and myself alone but as a Hispanic woman she gave 200% of herself to raise us using her cooking techniques. That is why my brother is in Culinary College and I learned to cook not only Hispanic food but also Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Cuban, Honduran, food from Venezuela, So I am blessed and I use my cooking blessing to bless others who are in need.
The other Woman who is an influence in becoming a great chef at my age is Paula Deen from the food network channel. She says that it does not matter the age you have, that if you like food and cooking to go for her it.. So I started at the same age that she did to cook for churches, for any benefit activity and any class of reunion.
