I love to cook, eat and share and check out new local restaurants. My two lovely daughters are wonderful cooks...we are fortunate! In my free time I enjoy practicing the violin and piano or relaxing with a nice glass of wine while listening to great music. Our family's biggest 'food' event is in late November when our extended family join together for the 'Great Bake Exchange'. Each year it gets bigger and better. Sometimes we have to add an extra table...and it has become a little competitive at times, but, in a very good way! Great fun!

I've been very fortunate to have had 2 grandmothers who were great cooks while I was growing up and have passed down some great traditions and some wonderful comfort foods that are quick and easy. My mom is also a wonderful cook and loves to feed us all at a moment's notice.
