I have found the joys of cooking and baking as I enter into my 30's and start life with my husband and children. I love to try new things and I learn every time I try.

Of course I grew up watching my mother and grandmother cook, but I would say that Foodnetwork TV and all of the recent cooking reality shows, ie: Top Chef, have really inspired me to try new things. I am the type of person, if I can see how it is done it makes me feel more confident to try it. I would say that I truly enjoy cooking, creating, and baking, especially for family and friends. The satisfaction that comes withe the fact that I did it is what keeps me trying new recipes. Thank you to everyone that posts new recipes and shares the stories behind them.
