Chef Gafner received a certificate from Culinary College in 1965 and is a member of various culinary associations (American Culinary Federation, Chef’s Association of the Pacific Coast, American Personal and Private Chef’s Association, and the California Restaurant Association) and is currently the Treasurer of the San Francisco chapter of the American Culinary Federation. Chef Gafner is CIA educated and is committed to the pursuit of current culinary trends through participation and continuing education and networking with culinary institutions, colleagues, and professionals.
