Im a wife mother of 3 and live in the northern ca. country. I work as a RN at the local hopsital in the IMCU. We raise miniature Dexter cattle, and enjoy our horses, dogs, cats, chickens and our kids. Our children have been raised on home grown meat, eggs and vegetables.I love to cook, bake and can. I look for quick yummy recipes to feed my family for when I work.

My Father and my Grandmother influence my coking at a young age. I continued on my journey through 8 years of culinary arts through the 4-H program. My Mother always encouraged me to try something new , and on the weekends we would pick a new recipe from her Joy of Cooking cookbook, which was her favorite. She used to say that there was never a bad recipe in that cookbook.
