I am happily married and have 2 wonderful adult daughters.Cooking and baking is in my blood. Mom was a baker and dad was a chef and caterer. Our family owned and operated two restaurants in a large metro area. Needless to say, I honed my skills at an early age . My love of travel also encouraged me to try new and different foods .I esp. love ethnic baking, using fresh herbs and unique spices and turning whatever leftovers I find in my fridge into gourmet -fare. I am retired now from many of my culinary endeavors ( a culinary editor for local newspapers, catering, giving cooking and baking lessons, and running a baking cottage industry from my home, ). However,I do help organize and cook for non profit organizations in my community on occasion. Although it's now me and hubby at home you'll always find me preparing something delciously different.. I enjoy preparing a rainbow of cuisine, from low fat, sugar free to caloric and fat laden dishes- from vegetarian/vegan to seafood, meat and poultry. Moderation is the key to enjoyment!
