Blurring the lines between, chef, artist and entrepreneur, Elena Gann received her initial culinary training in the Naval Culinary Academy. After military service, Elena went to work in the restaurant industry, first as a chef at the Imperial palace casino and hotel, then as a lead cook under executive chef Rodney Rightenberg at the Beau Rivage. In 2011 Elena opened Café Chilingo. Elena Gann owns and operates Café Chilingo, serves as President on the board of directors of the Main Street association, is an active chamber member and YPLC member, has spoken for the Veterans entrepreneur’s organization, Leavenworth high School Catering club, Chamber of commerce and is a Chef Mentor for the career pathways program.
