Hi, I’m Crystal and I recently relocated to Colorado after living and working in New York City for the past 10 years, with my husband, in the entertainment industry.
Living in NY gave me an appreciation for food that I never would have gained anywhere else. I was lucky enough to have eaten at some of the best restaurants on our little island and now I'm trying to recreate as many of my favorites as I can since I'm going thru food withdrawal, especially for the Thai food.
I am the sole cooker in this house. My husband, as much as he loves food and gives endless advise, thinks he's a disaster in the kitchen. But put that man in front of a grill and you'll be eating for days!
I started blogging again to keep everyone updated on our new life from back home but it's morphed into so much more. It's now my passion to teach myself everything from Martha Stewart's Cooking school and documenting my journey. I've blogged in the past documenting the 55 Water Street Peregrine Falcons for 2 years in Manhattan and can't wait to get inspiration from everyone on this site.
