My name is Andy, I live and work in London. My work takes me all over the world, but I love to cook, especially for my Italian girlfriend who is my greatest critic and who also helps me keep my recipes as authentic as possible. I started cooking seriously when I lived in China for a few years, because there was no way to eat home cooked food, unless you did it yourself. I can still sing China's national anthem, and eat my own body weight in char siu bao.
So back in England, I have been lucky enough to travel all over Italy, mostly Milan for work, but also to Bergamo, Bologna, Roma, Venezia, Pisa for fun. I am also learning the language (slowly, but surely) which takes up a lot of my free time.
