Name: Cornbread Biscuits
Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. flour; 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal; 2 tsp baking pwdr; 1/4 tsp baking soda; 1/4 tsp salt; 1/2 c. butter; 1/2 c. cheese, shredded; 1/2 c. buttermilk; 1 can diced chile peppers, (4 ounce.) optional

Ингредиенты

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
2 tsp baking pwdr
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cheese, shredded
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 can diced chile peppers, (4 ounce.) optional

Инструкции

Stir dry ingredients. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cheese. Make a well in center of mix. Stir in buttermilk and chile peppers. Add in to dry mix. Turn dough out on lightly floured surface. Quickly knead dough. Pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 min.
