Рецепт Wild Rice With Cherry And Walnuts and Cucumber Raita
I saw this recipe sometime back on food network channel and have written it down on my notebook.....But like a lot many other bookmarked recipes, this one also got forgotten......It was when I was going through the book that I recalled this one and went immediately to the nearby grocery store to get the dry cherries and the wild rice...Its a very easy recipe and is very flavorful...we loved eating it with cucumber raita...
Ингредиенты
- Wild rice- 1cup(can use basmati rice also)
- walnuts- 1\2 cup
- Dried Cherries-!\2 cup
- Salt
- Butter- 1 tbsp
- water- 3 cups
Инструкции
- In a pan , add butter
- When the butter is melted , add the remaining ingredients
- Cover and cook for half an hour
- Check if the rice are done otherwise add more water
- If using plane Basmati rice add only 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice
