- Mix yeast in 1/2 c. hot water.
- In a large bowl combine 2 c. flour, wheat flour, wheat germ, oats, lowfat milk solid, sugar and salt. Mix well. Add in 1 1/2 c. hot water, yeast and oil. Blend at low speed till moistened. Beat 3 min at medium speed. By hand stir in remaining flour to make a hard dough. Knead 5 min.
- Place in a greased bowl. Cover, let rise till doubled. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut into circles (tuna can size). Place on ungreased cookie sheet spread with cornmeal. Let rise till double (about 30 min). Bake on oiled griddle till golden.
