%20%20She%20is%2070%20years%20young%20today.%20%20%20I%20love%20you%20mom%20and%20you%20certainly%20don't%20look%2070%20years%20old%20to%20me!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20can%20count%20on%20one%20hand%20how%20many%20item's%20I%20have%20baked%20since%20Christmas.%20%20Four%20items.%20%202%20loaves%20of%20banana%20bread,%201%20batch%20of%20chocolate%20quinoa%20cupcakes%20and%20this%20batch%20of%20cookies.%20%20When%20I%20first%20started%20writing%20this%20blog%20it%20seemed%20like%20all%20I%20did%20was%20bake.%20%20Muffins,%20cookies,%20cupcakes,%20bars.%20%20You%20name%20it,%20I%20had%20to%20make%20it.%20%20Of%20course,%20back%20then%20I%20had%20a%20bit%20more%20energy%20than%20I%20have%20now%20and%20what%20little%20bit%20of%20energy%20I%20do%20have%20has%20been%20put%20into%20the%20elliptical%20in%20the%20morning%20instead%20of%20baking%20muffins%20to%20take%20to%20work.%20%20The%20fact%20that%20I%20have%20not%20been%20baking%20is%20one%20of%20the%20reasons%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20these%20cookies%20for%20my%20Secret%20Recipe%20Club%20reveal%20this%20month.%20%20That,%20and%20I%20was%20craving%20a%20cookie.%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20blog%20assigned%20to%20me%20to%20snoop%20around%20on%20and%20discover%20more%20about%20was%20My%20Hobbie%20Lobbie.%20%20Trisha,%20the%20author%20of%20this%20blog,%20seems%20to%20have%20a%20lot%20in%20common%20with%20me.%20%20She%20loves%20to%20cook,%20bake,%20craft%20(especially%20crochet%20which%20is%20my%20fav),%20and%20she%20is%20also%20married%20to%20the%20most%20wonderful%20man%20in%20the%20world.%20%20Oh,%20wait.%20%20Maybe%20that%20is%20where%20our%20similarities%20end...nah,%20I'm%20married%20to%20the%20most%20wonderful%20GRUMPY%20man%20in%20the%20world.%20%20;)%20%20She%20has%20several%20great%20recipes%20on%20her%20blog%20but%20out%20of%20them%20all,%20I%20went%20with%20something%20very%20simple%20and%20basic.%20%20The%20cookie.%20%20She%20made%20a%20chocolate%20chip%20cookie,%20and%20while%20I%20would%20have%20loved%20to%20stayed%20with%20what%20she%20made,%20I%20couldn't.%20%20I%20did%20not%20have%20a%20single%20chocolate%20chip%20in%20my%20pantry.%20%20I%20had%20peanut%20butter%20chips%20and%20white%20chocolate%20chips.%20%20So%20I%20went%20with%20them.%20They%20were%20great%20warm%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20still%20good%20after%20they%20cooled,%20but%20unfortunately%20they%20got%20a%20little%20too%20crispy%20by%20the%20next%20day%20for%20Grumpy.%20%20He%20likes%20a%20chewy%20cookie.%20%20So,%20I%20took%20them%20where%20I%20knew%20people%20would%20appreciate%20them....to%20work!%20%20:)%20%20They%20were%20gone%20before%20noon%20there!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhite%20Chocolate%20Peanut%20Butter%20Chip%20Cookies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EApril-8-2013%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20celcius.Cream%20together%20butter,%20shortening,%20sugars,%20eggs,%20and%20vanilla.Stir%20together%20flour,%20baking%20powder,%20and%20salt.%20%20Stif%20mixture%20into%20wet%20batter%20and%20mix%20well.Stir%20in%20white%20chocolate%20and%20peanut%20butter%20chips.Using%20a%20small%20cookie%20scoop,%20place%20cookie%20balls%20on%20cookie%20sheet%20lined%20with%20parchment%20paper%20about%202'%20apart.%20%20Flatten%20the%20cookies%20slightly%20with%20the%20palm%20of%20your%20hand%20or%20back%20of%20a%20spoon.Bake%20for%2010-12%20%20minutes%20or%20until%20cookies%20are%20set%20and%20lightly%20browned.Transfer%20cookies%20from%20cookie%20sheet%20to%20cooling%20rack.%20%20Store%20in%20airtight%20container.......Note:%20%20cooking%20time%20shown%20is%20for%201%20batch%20cookies.%20%20Plan%20on%20about%2045-50%20minutes%20total%20time.%20%20However,%20in%20about%2022%20minutes%20you%20can%20be%20enjoying%20a%20warm%20cookie%20while%20the%20next%20batch%20is%20in%20the%20oven!%20%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDetails%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20time:%2010%20mins%20Cook%20time:%2012%20mins%20Total%20time:%2022%20mins%20Yield:%204%20to%204-1/2%20dozen%20cookies%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
