%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOH%20MY%20GOD!!!%20This%20is%20the%20weirdest%20cookie%20disaster%20experience%20I%20have%20ever%20had.%20And%20the%20really%20odd%20part%20was%20I%20didn't%20even%20know%20it%20till%20the%20end.%20I%20was%20stoked%20about%20these%20cookies!%20I'm%20like%20%22Oh%20yeah,%20oh%20yeah,%20these%20cookies%20are%20going%20to%20rock!%22%20I%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehave%20some%20left%20over%20chocolate%20ganache%20in%20the%20fridge%20and%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20either%20dip%20or%20fill%20(like%20little%20sandwiches)%20some%20shortbread%20cookies%20with%20it.%20Anyway,%20the%20thing%20about%20this%20recipe%20is,%20you%20whip%20the%20ingredients%20for%20a%20full%2010%20minutes%20until%20it's%20the%20consistency%20of%20whipped%20cream.%20I%20did%20that%20and%20wow,%20did%20the%20cookie%20dough%20look%20good%20and%20tasted%20good!%20Then%20I%20fill%20the%20pastry%20bag%20and%20start%20to%20pipe%20the%20cookies%20onto%20a%20parchment%20lined%20cookie%20sheet.%20Oh%20my%20word!!!%20It%20piped%20like%20a%20flippin%20dream!%20This%20was%20my%20new%20favorite%20shortbread%20recipe.%20(Did%20I%20mention%20that%20I%20had%20found%20this%20recipe%20on%20a%20very%20popular%20blog%20and%20hers%20looked%20PERFECT%20and%20she%20loved%20this%20recipe).%20I'm%20telling%20you,%20I%20was%20ready%20to%20consider%20this%20my%20%22go%20to%22%20recipe!!!%20The%20perfectness%20continued;%20they%20come%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20looking%20like%20a%20million%20bucks.%20Beautiful%20light%20brown%20around%20the%20edges%20and%20looking%20still%20swirled%20from%20being%20piped.%20I%20let%20them%20cool%20and%20then.....here%20comes%20the%20shocking%20part.%20I%20went%20to%20grab%20one%20of%20the%20cookies%20to%20taste%20it%20and%20it%20disinigrated%20in%20my%20fingers.%20Disinigrated%20I%20tell%20you!%20(don't%20know%20if%20I%20spelled%20that%20word%20right%20but%20you%20know%20what%20I%20mean).%20It%20literally%20felt%20like%20I%20was%20lifting%20a%20clump%20of%20sand.%20You%20know%20how%20when%20you%20reach%20into%20your%20flour%20or%20powdered%20sugar%20canister%20and%20you%20lift%20a%20lump%20but%20it's%20very%20loose%20lump%20so%20it%20just%20falls%20apart%20when%20you%20pick%20it%20up?%20That's%20how%20it%20felt.%20I%20have%20never%20seen%20anything%20like%20it%20in%20all%20the%20years%20I've%20been%20baking!%20So%20weird!%20I%20had%20piped%205%20full%20sheets%20and%20for%20some%20reason%20I%20continued%20to%20bake%20all%20of%20them.%20Hoping%20for%20a%20different%20outcome.%20I%20just%20now%20got%20through%20throwing%20them%20all%20into%20the%20compost%20bin.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlease%20please%20tell%20me%20what%20in%20the%20hell%20happened!!!%20Has%20someone%20else%20experienced%20this?%20The%20ingredients%20were:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20are%20very%20basic%20shortbread%20ingredients%20and%20I%20have%20made%20shortbread%20many%20times.%20The%20only%20thing%20different%20was%20the%20extreme%20mixing%20time.%20It's%20like%20they%20were%20ultra%20tenderized.%20I%20can't%20help%20but%20thinking%20if%20I%20had%20beat%20the%20dough%20maybe....4%20or%205%20minutes%20if%20they%20would%20be%20tender%20but%20not%20like%20sand.%20Any%20thoughts?%20I%20usually%20can%20tell%20when%20something%20I'm%20baking%20is%20going%20to%20turn%20out%20to%20be%20a%20disaster%20but%20this%20was%20so%20deceiving.%20I%20thought%20they%20were%20perfect%20all%20the%20way%20till%20the%20end!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh%20yeah!%20I%20was%20excited%20at%20this%20point!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheck%20out%20the%20sprinkles!%20These%20reminded%20me%20of%20the%20little%20cookies%20you'd%20buy%20in%20a%20Italian%20bakery.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20tried%20really%20hard%20to%20capture%20the%20%22sand%22%20like%20texture.%20Really!%20It%20was%20like%20%22POOF%22%20when%20you%20touched%20them!%20Unbelievable!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDisaster!!!%20What%20a%20waste%20of%20ingredients!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
