  • 1/4 cup dark rum (I used spiced rum)
  • 4 scoops buttermilk ice cream (recipe follows)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 cups buttermilk
