- 2 pound venison steaks
- 1 c. minced onion
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pkg. Mrs. Grass Onion Mushroom Soup Mix
- 1 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. pepper
- 1 tbsp. garlic pwdr
- 1 tbsp. onion pwdr

- Make a flour mix with the flour, salt, pepper, garlic and onion pwdr. Cover the venison before cooking with the flour mix. Heat 1/2 the butter with the onion in a fry pan and brown all of the floured meat in this pan (you may add in more butter as needed).
- Place browned meat in a casserole dish. Sprinkle meat with soup mix, then add in the water so meat is covered. Bake at slow temperature (275 degrees) several hrs. The longer it bakes the better it is.
