- Fold in saucepan sugar, salt, cornstarch, and flour. Stir in gradually 3 cups lowfat milk. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, till mix thickens and boils. Remove from heat. Slowly add in 1/3 of the mix and blend into the egg yolks. Then add in back to rest of mix. Cook 1 more minute over heat. Remove and add in vanilla. Chill after cooling down. This can now be spooned into Cream Puffs.
