Ингредиенты

  • 1 1/2 lbs. conch steak
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 1/3 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 2 bird peppers, minced fine
  • Peanut oil for frying

Инструкции

  1. Put conchs through a food grinder with a coarse blade. Beat egg and add in lowfat milk. Sift flour with baking pwdr and salt and add in egg mix. Add in minced conch, celery seeds, and minced peppers. Drop batter by Tbsp. into warm oil. Brown on all sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve warm with tartar or possibly cocktail sauce. Serves 36 Fritters.
