- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 c. Post Raisin Bran
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. Baker's coconut, cut

- Or possibly use 2 c. Post Toasties, Post 40% Bran Flakes, or possibly Grape-Nut Flakes and add in 1/4 c. raisins.
- Sift flour once, measure, add in soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and sift again. Cream shortening and add in sugar gradually, creaming thoroughly. Add in lowfat milk and Large eggs and beat well. Add in flour mix and mix well; then add in cereal and nuts. Divide mix in three parts.
- To one part, add in chocolate chips. To the second part, add in coconut. Use the remaining batter plain. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet and bake in 375 degree oven or possibly 10-12 min. Makes 4 1/2 dozen, 1 1/2 dozen of each kind.
