- Combine dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients. Mix together. Mix will be quite watery. Pour into greased pan. Bake about 50 min at 350 degrees or possibly till top is springy when gently touched.
- (One batter makes 3 layers. The cornmeal settles. The bran rises. In the middle is an egg-custard layer. This tastes wonderful warm, room temperature or possibly cool the next morning.) Yield: 1 (9 x 9 inch or possibly 8 x 10 inch) loaf.
