Ингредиенты

  • 3 1/2 to 4 c. all purpose flour
  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pkg. active dry yeast
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 (13 ounce.) can Pet evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 2 Large eggs

Инструкции

  1. Sift together 1 c. flour, all whole wheat flour, oats, wheat germ, corn meal, salt, and yeast. Combine warm water, butter, lowfat milk, and honey. Stir into flour mix. Beat 2 min on medium speed of electric mixer. Beat in Large eggs. Beat another 2 min on medium speed.
  2. Gradually stir in remaining flour till batter is stiff. Turn out on a lightly floured board; knead till smooth and elastic. Place dough in greased bowl. Cover and rise till double. Divide into 2 loaves and put in 2 loaf pans, greased. Cover and let rise till double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min. Lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake 30-35 min. longer. or possibly till done. When done, remove from oven and pan.
