%20%20So%20much%20so%20that%20these%20will%20be%20going%20on%20the%20cookie%20platters%20I%20bring%20to%20friends%20and%20family%20this%20year.%20%20I%20shipped%20all%20my%20cookies%20with%20some%20vanilla%20bean%20marshmallows%20too...%20ya%20know,%20for%20packing%20material%20;)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBasically%20these%20are%20a%20sugar%20cookie%20cup%20filled%20with%20a%20homemade%20chocolate%20marshmallow%20and%20topped%20off%20with%20a%20vanilla%20candy%20wafer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECookies:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Evanilla%20candy%20wafers%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECream%20the%20butter%20and%20sugar%20in%20a%20large%20bowl%20with%20an%20electric%20mixer.%20Beat%20in%20the%20eggs%20and%20vanilla.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20the%20flour,%20baking%20powder%20and%20salt%20in%20a%20second%20large%20bowl%20and%20mix%20well.%20Stir%20the%20flour%20mixture%20into%20the%20butter%20mixture%201%20cup%20at%20a%20time.%20Chill%20the%20dough%20for%203%20to%204%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20is%20where%20I%20deviated%20from%20the%20original%20recipe:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%20%20Roll%20the%20dough%20into%201%22%20balls%20and%20place%20each%20ball%20into%20the%20well%20of%20a%20mini%20muffin%20tin.%20%20Press%20a%20well%20into%20each%20ball%20with%20your%20fingers%20(or%20do%20like%20me%20and%20use%20the%20rounded%20end%20of%20a%20citrus%20reamer)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20until%20the%20cookies%20are%20just%20beginning%20to%20brown%20around%20the%20edges,%208-10%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20cookies%20are%20in%20the%20oven%20cut%20the%20marshmallows%20up.%20%20If%20you're%20using%20a%20store%20bought%20marshmallow%20you're%20going%20to%20probably%20use%20half%20a%20regular%20sized%20marshmallow%20or%20two%20mini.%20%20If%20you're%20using%20a%20homemade%20marshmallow%20I%20used%20about%201/8%20of%20mine%20(I%20made%20them%20pretty%20big).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20the%20cookies%20come%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20put%20the%20marshmallows%20in%20the%20cups%20right%20away%20and%20top%20with%20a%20candy%20wafer.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
