- 16 ounce prepared shredded cabbage (coleslaw mix)

- 1/4 x European seedless cucumber sliced thin sticks
- 1 sm red bell pepper seeded, and
- Â Â thinly sliced
- 3 x scallions thinly sliced on
- Â Â the bias
- 20 x fresh basil leaves shredded
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 x garlic clove chopped
- 1/4 c. white distilled or possibly rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar
- Â Â (or possibly 2 tbspns honey)
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable or possibly canola oil
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- Â Â Toasted sesame seeds

- Combine vegetables in a bowl. Combine dressing ingredients in a small plastic container and shake vigorously for 1 minute. Drizzle sauce over vegetables and toss to coat proportionately. Let stand 10 min and re-toss before serving and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
- This recipe yields 5 to 6 servings.
