- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter
- 4 T cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. buttermilk (or possibly 1/2 c. lowfat milk and 1 T vinegar)
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 stick butter
- 4 T cocoa
- 6 T lowfat milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. minced nuts

- Bring butter, cocoa and water to a boil in a saucepan. Pour over flour and sugar mix in a large bowl; stir till well blended. Add in buttermilk, large eggs, soda, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix well and bake in an 11x16x2 pan for 20 min at 400 degrees. Begin to make icing 5 min before cake is done.
- Bring to a boil all ingredients.
