- 1/3 lb natural Graham crackers (1 pkg)
- 2Â 1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp. sesame tahini
- 1Â 1/2 tsp water

- Pulverize the Graham crackers in a food processor.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and process till well-blended.
- Press half of mix into a 9-inch pie pan, firming it well.
- If an unbaked filling is to be used, bake the crust in an oven heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 min till lightly browned. Otherwise, add in the filling and bake the pie as directed.
- Servings: 8.
- NOTES : Here's a great idea from Dr. Weil: add in some tahini paste to graham crackers to create a pie crust. He has a blueberry pie and a winter squash pie which use this crust.
- Note which the %CFF can vary significantly based on the graham crackers you use. I'd use the nonfat variety.
