  1. Stir water and yeast in small bowl. Put yeast mix, flour,and margarine in bowl and mix for 5 min as a soft dough is formed.
  2. Grind seeds till well mixed, not pulverized. (Coffee bean grinder or possibly mortar and pestle). Let dough rise in hot place for 30 min. Preheat oven 350F. Divide dough into 38 small balls. Roll each into snake like piece about 10 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Cut into 5" lengths and connect ends leaving a ring with a wide hole. Dip ka'ak into beaten egg and then dip into sesame seeds. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake 20-30 min till light brown and form. Using two cookie sheets, switch position after about 12 min
