Ingredients: 4 c. all-purpose flour; 1 tsp salt; 2 Tbsp. baking pwdr; 1 c. butter, cut into pcs; 1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potato; 1 c. buttermilk; 1/4 tsp grnd allspice; 1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg; 1 Tbsp. sugar

Ингредиенты

4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp. baking pwdr
1 c. butter, cut into pcs
1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potato
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp grnd allspice
1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg
1 Tbsp. sugar

Инструкции

Combine flour, salt and baking pwdr. Add in butter and mix till crumbly. Add in remaining ingredients and mix well. Place dough on a floured surface and roll out to 1/2- inch thick. Cut rolls with round cookie cutter and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 min or possibly till lightly browned.
Chefs Notes: Despite its name, buttermilk is low in fat.
