.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20medium%20bowl,%20combine%20the%20sweet%20potatoes%20with%20the%20ginger,%20the%20orange%20peel%20and%20the%20orange%20juice.%20Pour%20the%20custard%20over%20the%20sweet%20potato%20mixture%20and%20stir%20to%20combine.%20Chill%20for%20at%20least%20two%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDo%20you%20see%20a%20theme%20with%20my%20sweet%20potato%20creations?%20I%20love%20the%20combination%20of%20orange%20and%20sweet%20potatoes.%20It%20makes%20the%20flavors%20so%20Spring-like!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20sweet%20potato%20custard%20into%20the%20ice%20cream%20maker%20and%20churn%20per%20the%20manufacturer's%20directions.%20With%20my%20machine,%20it%20was%20ready%20in%20about%2030%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20finished%20ice%20cream%20will%20be%20fairly%20soft.%20If%20you%20prefer%20the%20ice%20cream%20to%20be%20harder,%20place%20it%20in%20an%20airtight%20container%20and%20freeze%20it%20for%20a%20few%20hours.%20I%20happen%20to%20like%20it%20a%20little%20softer---it%20seems%20creamier%20and%20more%20flavorful.%20I%20found%20it%20too%20hard%20not%20to%20scoop%20some%20into%20a%20chocolate%20rimmed%20cone%20and%20slurp%20it%20down%20immediately!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20even%20better%20with%20some%20chocolate%20covered%20sunflower%20seeds!%20Now%20imagine%20it%20in%20a%20profiterole%20with%20some%20chocolate%20syrup......too%20bad%20I%20didn't%20have%20the%20time....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20stuff%20is%20good%20just%20by%20itself,%20but%20it's%20fun%20to%20imagine%20all%20of%20the%20possibilities....%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
