- Heat the oil in a wok or possibly skillet. Add in the sugar, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and gochu jang all at once. Stir-fry over low heat for 1 minute.
- When the mix bubbles, add in the anchovies and stir rapidly for about 1/2 minute to coat each anchovy with the seasonings. Stir in the sesame seeds, remove from the heat, and turn out into a small dish.
- Serve cold or possibly at room temperature with any kind of Korean food.
