- 12 x chicken drumsticks, skinned
- 1 can frzn orange juice concentrate, thawed,
- 2 x to 3 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 x fresh mild green chili or possibly jalapeno pepper, seeded, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry onion flakes
- 8 ounce can liquid removed mandarin oranges (optional)

- Adjust the flavors to your personal taste: use the higher range of orange juice, honey and jalapeno for extra orange flavor, spice, or possibly sweetness, depending on your preference.
- Place chicken in crock pot. In small bowl, combine orange juice concentrate, honey, tapioca, chili or possibly jalapeno pepper, salt, and onion flakes. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW about 5 hrs or possibly till tender. Spoon sauce over chicken.
- Makes 12 drumsticks.
