- 3 lb oxtails - (to 4 lbs) disjointed
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 x onions minced
- 2 x garlic cloves finely chooped
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1Â 1/2 c. beef stock
- 3/4 c. dry red wine
- 1/2 c. tomato sauce
- 6 x peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp dry oregano
- 1 x dry red chile pepper seeded, minced
- 2 whl cloves
- 2 x carrots minced
- 1 x red bell pepper minced
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 x potatoes cut in chunks
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Инструкции
- Brown oxtails on all sides in oil in skillet. Add in onions and garlic and cook 5 min. Sprinkle flour over the meat, blend well and cook 2 min. Add in the meat and remaining ingredients to the crock pot, placing potatoes in the bottom. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hrs.
