Southern Chicken Pie & Savory Pastry

Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 pound pork sausage, cooked & liquid removed
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 14 1/2 ounce. ready to serve chicken broth
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. chicken, cooked & minced
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas, thawed

Инструкции

  1. Heat butter in 3-qt saucepan; add in flour, salt and pepper. Stir till smooth. Cook 1 minute. Gradually add in lowfat milk and broth. Cook over medium heat till thick and bubbly. Stir in chicken, sausage and peas. Pour into 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Cover with Savory Pastry.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 min.
