- 2/3 c. minced onion
- 1/2 pound bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
- 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 3 (16 ounce.) cans pinto or possibly pink beans
- 2/3 c. ketchup
- 3 tbsp. French's Classic Yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed light or possibly dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

- In 3-qt microwavable casserole stir onion and bacon. Cover with paper towel. Microwave on High for 4 min or possibly till onion is tender, stirring once. Add in grnd beef, breaking up with fork. Microwave on High for 5 min or possibly till beef is no longer pink, stirring once. Drain off fat. Stir in beans, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and salt till well combined. Microwave on High, uncovered, for 15 min or possibly till warm and bubbling, stirring twice. Makes 8 servings.
