- Peel shrimp, and devein, if you like.
- Combine flour, salt, and pepper. Stir together lowfat milk and egg till smooth. Toss shrimp in lowfat milk mix; dredge in flour mix.
- Pour oil to a depth of 2 inches in a Dutch oven; heat to 375 degrees. Fry shrimp, in batches, 1 to 2 min or possibly till golden brown; drain on wire racks.
- Heat butter; add in garlic. Spread cut sides of rolls proportionately with butter mix; place on a large baking sheet.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 8 min. Spread cut sides of rolls proportionately with Remoulade Sauce. Place shrimp and lettuce on bottom halves of rolls; cover with roll tops.
- This recipe yields 4 sandwiches.
