- 8 x 4 ounce quail
- Â Â Marinade
- 1 med onion
- 1/2 c. scotch whiskey
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. minced rosemary
- 1 tsp salt
- Â Â pepper

- Rinse quail and pat dry. Using a sharp knife or possibly shears, cut through the backbone of each quail. Place each bird skin side up and flatten with hands. Place in a shallow dish and cover with marinade. Marinate for at least 2 hrs.
- Grill birds on medium high for 8-10 min.
- Marinade:In a food processor, puree marinade ingredients till smooth.
