Ингредиенты

  • 1 x (2 lb.) cantaloupe melon, peeled, seeded, cubed
  • 1 c. chicken stock or possibly 2 chicken bouillon cubes dissolved in:
  • 1 c. water
  •     Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 c. light cream
  • 3 x to 4 basil leaves, minced
  •     Dash of Tabasco
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Pepper to taste

Инструкции

  1. In a food processor/blender, process melon and chicken stock to a smooth puree. Fold in remaining ingredients, except melon. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
  2. Freezer Method: Pour prepared mix into several undivided ice trays. Place in freezer; freeze till almost hard.
  3. In a food processor/blender, process till smooth. Return to trays; cover; freeze till hard. Serve on pcs of melon, if you like. Garnish with sprigs of rosemary, if you like.
  4. Makes 8 servings
