Ингредиенты

  • 2 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 3 x Cloves Garlic Finely Minced
  • 1 c. Minced Onions
  • 1 c. Minced Carrots in 1/4 inch pcs
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Basil
  • 1/4 tsp Dry Rosemary Crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp Dry Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd Sage
  • 1 x Bay Leaf
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 2 med Potatoes
  •     Unpeeled, Cut In 1/2" Cubes
  • 1 lb Great Northern Beans, Canned
  •     Rinsed, Liquid removed - Yields 10 Ounce Of Beans
  • 2 Tbsp. All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Water

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Lightly oil a 1 3/4 quart casserole or possibly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over med heat. Add in garlic, onions, carrots and spices. Cook 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
  4. Remove and throw away bay leaf.
  5. Add in potatoes and beans, mixing well.
  6. Place flour in a small bowl. Add in a few Tbsp. of water, stirring to make a thick paste. Gradually add in remaining water, stirring till smooth.
  7. Stir into skillet, mixing well.
  8. Spoon mix into prepared casserole. Bake, covered, 45 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking time.
  9. NOTES :This was very tasty. I do not feel which it adequately serves 4. I would definitely make it as 1 1/2 the recipe to serve 4.
