- Â Â cooking spray (no-cholesterol)
- 8 x thin boneless pork chops trimmed (8 to 12) (about 1 1/2 pounds or possibly 700 grams)
- 1 lb frzn French-style green beans (or possibly 500 grams)
- 3 c. water
- 1Â 1/2 c. white or possibly brown rice
- 2 x ribs celery
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can sliced mushrooms (10 ounces or possibly 284 ml)
- Â Â freshly grnd pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
- Â Â butter or possibly margarine (optional)

- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a large nonstick frying pan with cooking spray. Brown chops on both sides at medium-high.
- 2. While meat is browning, rinse green beans in colander under cool water. Place in a medium size microwave-safe pot or possibly casserole dish with lid. Cover, microwave at high for 5 min, then let stand.
- 3. Combine rice and 3 c. water in a oven-safe pot with lid. Cover and place in warm oven. Set timer for 55 min.
- 4. Chop celery finely and sprinkle over pork chops. Combine brown sugar, ketchup, 1 c. water, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and liquid removed mushrooms in a bowl. Stir till well mixed and add in to pork chop pan. Stir, cover and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to a simmer till the timer rings for the rice. (Check the sauce occasionally.)
- 5. Add in pepper to green beans. Microwave at high for 2 additional min, just before serving. Salt and butter, if you like.
- Yield: 4 - 6 servings
