- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 3/4 c. white flour
- 1 1/2 c. rye flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
Инструкции
- Sift together. Cut in 1/2 cup shortening. Add in 2 cups buttermilk. Mix well and make a roll, adding more white flour if needed. Refrigerate 2 hrs or possibly more. Cut into 12 pcs and roll very thin with regular rolling pin. Roll again with Swedish rolling pin or possibly pierce with fork. Bake at 400 degrees on cookie sheet till light brown. Dry completely in oven after all baking is done at 400.
