- Wash and drain berries (or possibly defrost and save liquid). There should be 2 1/2 c. total. If fresh, add in 2 c. of water and cook till berries are soft. Add in sugar. Mix cornstarch and 2 Tbsp. cool water. Add in a small amount of berry juice, mix well and stir into berry mix.
- Cook, stirring constantly till pudding thickens. Reduce heat, cook 10 min. Turn into serving dish. Let stand till cool. When serving, decorate with slivered almonds, passed around the table, followed by a pitcher of cream.
